FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Former Arkansas football player Dedrick Poole's trial for battery has been postponed until Sept. 27.
Poole, who is expected to report to Arkansas-Pine Bluff as a transfer next month, is accused of punching a doorman at a bar in February. He pleaded not guilty in May to second-degree battery.
His trial date was initially set for Tuesday in front of Washington County Circuit Court Judge William Storey, but that's been put off, according to Storey's office.
Poole had 5 yards rushing and 35 yards receiving for the Razorbacks last season.
