After eight months of sleeping in motels, staying with relatives, and renting a temporary home, a Mayes county family is finally getting a fresh start.
The LeFan family lost everything when a wildfire destroyed their home last November. Soon after, the community rallied behind them with an extraordinary gift. More than 100 volunteers and four churches worked to help rebuild their lives.
The LeFan's can't say thank you enough. Ruth LeFan: “this is a house built with love, truly and I can't wait to show you how beautiful it is inside." Heather LeFan: "it’s overwhelming the kindness and generosity that's been shown to us."
The LeFans still have to put a few finishing touches on their new home.
They expect to move in, in the next week or two.
