OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The executive director of the Oklahoma Public Employees Association has confirmed that he has been placed on administrative leave, pending an audit.

Gary Jones said questions have been raised about his expense account, but that he has done nothing wrong.

The Oklahoma Public Employees Association is a labor organization that represents the interests of state employees.

Scott Barger, acting executive director of the association, said the audit is an annual business audit that looks at all the finances of the association.

Jones said he was placed on administrative leave after a meeting by the association's governing board on Sunday. The board will meet again Saturday to take up the matter.

Jones and the association did not release specifics of any allegations of financial problems.
