BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) _ A Maryland woman was killed Monday in a car accident just south of Bartlesville in Washington County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Doris Russell was transported to a Bartlesville hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The patrol says Russell was pulling out of a private drive onto a county road when her car was hit in the driver's door by a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 16-year-old Mark Pinkerton of Bartlesville.

Pinkerton wasn't seriously injured in the crash.
