PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Oklahoma native Brad Penny will be the starting pitcher for the National League in Tuesday night's Major League All-Star game.

Penny is from Broken Arrow and is 10-and-2 this season with the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 2.91 ERA.

He'll be opposed by left-hander Kenny Rogers of the Detroit Tigers.

Penny hasn't started since last Wednesday but did pitch one-third of an inning in relief Sunday.
