OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State transportation commissioners Monday agreed to spend up to $900,000 for an industrial access road for a new Pepsi plant being built in Pryor.
Officials say about 350 trucks will drive in and out of the plant each day.
PepsiCo announced in June it would spend $180-million to build a manufacturing and distribution facility at the Mid-America Industrial Park and hire 280 employees.
The operation will produce Gatorade Thirst Quencher and Propel Fitness Water and is to open in September next year.
