OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma City will host the AAA baseball championship game, a contest that will pit the champions of the Pacific Coast League and International League.

The game will be played September 19th at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark, which is the home stadium of the Oklahoma RedHawks of the PCL.

Las Vegas hosted a best-of-5 AAA World Series in 1998, 1999 and 2000, but the champions of the PCL and IL haven't met in postseason competition since.

During the two days after the championship game, representatives from the 30 AAA teams will hold their league meetings in Oklahoma City. The RedHawks' executive director, John Allgood, says it will be the first time that the two leagues have had combined fall meetings.
