Tulsa Police still have few leads in the city's 38th homicide of the year.

Detectives are trying to retrace the steps of the victim, 17-year old Lamont Toles. He was shot Monday afternoon on 46th Street North. Friends rushed Toles to the emergency room where he died.

Police say it was gang-related, but family members say Toles wasn't a gang member. Tulsa Police Sgt Mike Huff: "He definitely stands out as somebody we were very familiar with."

Lamont Tolesâ€™ father Larnell Toles: "There won't be no closure for me till I find out what really happened."

Larnell Toles says he doesn't want anyone to retaliate for his son's death. He says more violence won't bring Lamont back.
