OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A flight operated by a regional carrier for Northwest Airlines was delayed Wednesday afternoon at Will Rogers World Airport after a woman told authorities there was a bomb on the plane.
Police sergeant Kevin Barnes says no explosive device was found, and the woman who made the statement was being evaluated.
The flight bound for Memphis, Tennessee, with 36 passengers and three crew members. Airport spokeswoman Karen Carney says the plane was ready to depart when the woman made the threat to a flight attendant.
Carney says all of the passengers were ordered off the plane, and authorities re-screened baggage and searched the aircraft.
