The simplest form of art can create the most magnificent masterpiece.

A new exhibit at Gilcrease Museum, titled "Lines of Discovery" takes art lovers on a journey through the history of American drawings.

The News on 6 spoke with the Executive Director at Gilcrease Museum, Joe Schenk, who describes the uniqueness of this particular exhibit. "I think this show really does run the gamete and it shows artists who have focused on the drawings and who have used the drawing techniques to set the stage for the paintings they have done, the show also includes artists who have done sculpture and does show their drawings as well."

The exhibition runs through August 27th.
