OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A shooting early Sunday morning on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City left a 19-year-old man dead and two other injured.

Police say four people were in a sport utility vehicle driving south on Interstate 44 near the Interstate 40 intersection about 4 AM, when someone in another car started shooting at them.

The 19 year-old man died from a gunshot. Two other passengers were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The shooting forced officials to shut down the interstate between I-40 and Southwest 15th Street for about two hours.
