A transformer fire near 1st and Denver filled the downtown Tulsa skyline with black smoke Saturday night.

Firefighters are not sure why the PSO transformer caught on fire.

Firefighters were forced to let that fire keep buring until PSO crews could get there to stabilize the power lines.

Tulsa Fire's Hazmat unit was also brought in to monitor air quality from the fire.

No one was injured.
