TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Marc Kaiser pitched a complete, four-hit game to help lead Tulsa to a 6-to-1 victory over Midland in Texas League play.
Kaiser struck out five for the Drillers (1-1), who never trailed after Mark Macri's RBI scored Seth Smith for a 1-0 lead last night.
Alvin Colina finished 3-4 with two RBI's, including a single in the second inning that scored Jordan Gaetti to widen Tulsa's advantage to 2-0. Smith, Macri, Joe Koshansky and Ian Stewart had one RBI each.
The only run for Midland (1-1) came in the top of the ninth inning, when Ronnie Merrill's sacrifice fly scored Eddie Cornejo.
David Bradley took the loss for the RockHounds after allowing 11 hits, five runs and striking out four in five innings.
