The search is on for an escapee from the correction center in Vinita.

Officials say Edward Branch Junior is considered armed and dangerous.

He was last seen wearing a pair of faded blue jeans and a hooded grey sweatshirt.

He has several previous convictions. One is currently serving time for possession of a stolen vehicle.

He and another inmate, Evin Hanson, escaped yesterday afternoon. Hanson is back in custody.
