TULSA, Okla. (AP) Matt Tupman had two RBI's and Wichita held off a late Tulsa rally to beat the Drillers 5-to-4 in a Texas League game.
Tulsa (38-27) was trailing 5-to-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning last night when Ian Stewart singled in Doug Bernier and Troy Tulowitzki to narrow the score.
Chris Iannetta hit a sacrifice fly as the Drillers came within one, 5-to-4, but the inning ended without another run and Tulsa wouldn't score again.
Iannetta went 1-for-4 with two RBI's for Tulsa, including a home run in the fourth inning that put Tulsa on the board at 3-to-1.
