OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Oklahoma City man has been charged with first-degree manslaughter.
50-year-old David Jordan is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a wreck on February 24 that left dead a 33-year-old named Robert Byrd.
According to a court affadavit, Jordan was headed west on State Highway 9 when his vehicle veered into the eastbound lane, struck a pickup truck and knocked it off the road.
Records show Jordan's vehicle then collided with another eastbound truck, which was driven by Byrd. Byrd died of his injuries two days later.
