Two men with guns carjacked a man Wednesday afternoon in south Tulsa.
The victim told Tulsa Police, the men pulled him out of his SUV at the TGI-Friday's at 61st and Memorial. Officers say when the victim wouldn't hand over his keys, one of the suspects hit him over the head with the gun, and then he did.
An officer investigating whether this case is connected to a similar carjacking a few weeks ago found the stolen Durango abandoned and stripped at an apartment complex about a mile away.
Tulsa Police Sgt Mark Watson: "From the time span of when the crime took place to where we actually found the victim's vehicle was less than 10 minutes and they already had the stereo stripped and other things taken out of the car."
