A wrong way driver on the Creek Turnpike lands one person in a Tulsa hospital.

Around 2:30 AM Wednesday, someone reported a car going westbound on the eastbound lanes of the turnpike. He swerved to avoid another car, went across the median, and between two bridges.

The driver was pinned upside down in his car. He was rescued by the Jenks Fire Department and taken to the hospital.

Alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
