RIVERDALE, Neb. (AP) _ Keith Williams believes the genes for ``attitude'' in his bucking bulls come from the mother.

And one look at Twisted Sister, a rangy white cow with askew horns, will confirm that theory.

When a stranger approaches the cow-calf pen fence on Williams' property, Twisted Sister stands still and stares. It's an ``I dare you'' look if there ever was one.

Williams says that calf, Twisted Hou, currently is his favorite bull to take to rodeos.

As a bull rider with the Oklahoma State University rodeo team and on his own in the 1980s, Williams knows what makes a good bucking bull from a cowboy's point of view. So as he develops his own pen of rodeo bulls now in Nebraska, he looks for some attitude mixed with athleticism.
