WOODWARD, Okla. (AP) -- A Woodward County judge dismisses an attorney representing a woman accused of first-degree murder in the disappearance of her 6-year-old son.
Associate District Judge Joseph Marak Thursday sided with prosecutors who alleged that David Christian had an inappropriate relationship with Katherine Pollard.
Pollard was arrested in February and charged with killing her son, Logan Tucker, who was last seen in June 2002 and is presumed dead.
Christian denies his relationship with Pollard was inappropriate but says he won't appeal the judge's decision.
Prosecutors presented evidence, including a receipt for a hotel room Pollard stayed in that was paid for by Christian. They also pointed to a videotape in which they say Pollard spoke of splitting proceeds from a movie deal about her life with the attorney.
Law enforcement officers are searching an area landfill for the boy's remains.
