JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ A former Oklahoma man faces 25 years in prison in Florida after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife.
Cecil Mathews admitted as part of a plea deal to shooting Natalie Mathews last December at their home in suburban Jacksonville, Florida.
Natalie Mathews is formerly of Tahlequah and had moved to Florida with her husband last November.
Cecil Mathews agreed to the deal to avoid a possible death sentence and Natalie Mathews' mother says the family agreed with the sentence.
