A Washington County man is charged with assault, after shooting at a woman and pepper spraying her children.

The woman says she was shot with a BB gun by her neighbor after pulling into her rural Bartlesville home.

Jennifer Stearman says Jimmie Jordan chased them and sprayed them with pepper spray. Court records show Jordan is 6-foot 7.

He told authorities he was defending himself from Stearman, who is 5-foot-3.
