WASHINGTON (AP) _ The US Agriculture Department announces that an Oklahama company has recalled 4.3 million pounds of frozen meat products because they may contain pieces of metal.

The USDA says the meat was produced by Advance Food Company of Enid and was sold to institutional buyers nationwide and to one Midwest retail customer with stores in Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. The retailer was not identified.

The meat is mostly varieties of cubed beef sold in 10 and 12 pound cases which have various dates between November 28th, 2005, to April 30th, 2006.

Each package displays a number ``EST 2260Y'' or ``EST 2260G'' inside the USDA seal of inspection.
