OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state House Thursday passed a Medicaid reform measure intended to give recipients more control over their health care and reduce the overall cost of the program.
The bill calls for $93-million to reimburse doctors and hospitals for providing services to Medicaid recipients and nearly $20.5-million for nursing homes.
The bill passed on a 93-to-1 vote despite there being no budget agreement that would pay for the program.
The bill now goes to the state Senate for consideration.
