OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State firefighters in Oklahoma would be guaranteed overtime pay when they work a holiday under a bill now heading to the governor.

The state House has approved the bill to require the state Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry pay state firefighters overtime on state holidays.

The department currently has the option of paying the overtime, but isn't required to do so.
