OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma House approves a bill extending for six years official state recognition of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in Muskogee.

Earlier, a bill to do the same thing was defeated in the state House over an unrelated issue that was stuck into the measure.

State House author Barbara Staggs says award-winning country music star Toby Keith was inducted into the hall in 2005 and called it one of the top honors he's received.
