A burglary alarm call leads to a chase and an unusual accident in Tulsa overnight.
It started just before 1:30 AM when a Tulsa Police officer responded to a call at the Game Exchange at 71st and Memorial. He found a window broken. As he went to the back of the building, a suspect jumped into his car and sped off.
That led to a chase which ended at the industrial park at 48th and Memorial. The suspect turned on 48th and hit a dead end, sending his car 20 feet into a parking lot below. He landed upside down on another vehicle.
The suspect tried to run away, but was quickly captured and taken to the hospital for some injuries.
Tulsa Police say they found about $3,000 worth of stolen merchandise in the trunk. No one was in the other car at the time. The owner is out of town at a safety seminar.
