The Tulsa School board had another interview for the soon-to-be-vacant superintendent's job. The final candidate was interviewed Thursday.
Dr. David Flowers is a superintendent in Fargo, North Dakota. He got the chance to explain why he thinks he's the best person for the job at a news conference Thursday afternoon. "The challenges of a diverse community and running a school district in a diverse community are kind of in my blood. One of the things that attracts me to Tulsa, I believe invested my career and develop passions and skills and knowledge that might serve the district well."
There may be another possible candidate announced this weekend.
Current Tulsa School superintendent Dr. David Sawyer retires at the end of June.
