The Oklahoma Special Olympics summer games kicked off in Stillwater Wednesday.
Wednesday morning, several Tulsa area law enforcement officers participated in the annual torch run. The "Flame of Hope†will light the cauldron to signal the start of the games.
The torch signals the beginning of the summer games, and also reinforces the law enforcement community's commitment to the Special Olympics.
