OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Iraqi air force is receiving a helping hand from two mechanics stationed at Tinker Air Force Base.
Technical Sergeant Vincente Tello and Staff Sergeant Michael Reed are helping refurbish a plane the Iraqis used to patrol infrastructure that could be targeting by insurgents in that country.
Tello and Reed are part of a group of about 20 mechanics from the U.S. Air Force's three logistics centers that have spent the last two months working on the Iraqi plane.
The work is being done at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
