LOST CITY, Okla. (AP) _ According to the US Department of Education audit, the Lost City School received nearly $159,000 more in federal aid than it should have in 2004.

Lost City Superintendent Annette Millard says she received a letter Wednesday stating the school had received more than $177,000.

It was only supposed to get about $18,500 for American Indian students living on trust land.

Millard says there was no accompanying documentation with the letter or statement demanding repayment.
