It's been more than a month since 10-year old Elizabeth Wagoner was found dead behind a Tulsa strip mall. Lindsay and Bill Wagoner say they are starting to recover. They don't want the people of Tulsa to forget what happened to Elizabeth.

They say if there's one thing to remember about this murder, it's that police arrested a neighbor. To stop a similar tragedy, the Wagoner’s want everyone to get to know their neighbors.

Bill Wagoner: "You know when everybody in the neighborhood knows everybody in the neighborhood; somebody like this doesn't live in the neighborhood. They become exposed."

The Wagoner’s plan to reach out to other parents at a neighborhood watch meeting. It's this Thursday at 6:30 PM at Hoover Elementary School.

Elizabeth's accused killer is Daniel Johnson. He's charged with first degree murder, kidnapping and molestation.

Detectives say a fingerprint found on duct tape wrapped around Elizabeth's head matched Johnson's prints.
