Partly cloudy skies and the chance for scattered showers are expected to continue across portions of Oklahoma this week.

The National Weather Service said Saturday night will see a chance for continuing showers and thunderstorms, with overnight lows in the 40s and 50s.

Daytime highs on Friday were in the upper 60s and lower 70s as rain fell across the state. The highest rainfall totals were in the eastern section of the state, where McAlester reported 3.34 inches of rainfall and nearly three inches was reported in Bartlesville. Oklahoma City recorded 1.4 inches of rain, while Tulsa received about two inches.

Partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures are expected on Sunday, with daytime highs predicted in the 70s and lower 80s. There is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms in the northeast.

Winds are expected to increase on Monday, with highs in the 70s and 80s and overnight lows in the 50s.

A slight chance for rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday, with daytime highs in the 70s and 80s and lows in the 50s and 60s.
