A Tulsa Police officer was accidentally shot by a fellow officer Tuesday during a burglary call.
The two officers were called to a home on North Elgin that had been broken into. They decided to make sure the burglar was gone, before allowing the homeowner inside.
The officers didn't stay together and when one of them was checking under a bed, the other one only saw a hand and a gun. He called out and fired a shot; the bullet went through his fellow officer's jacket.
The officer who fired the shot will answer questions during a departmental shooting review board.
No one was seriously hurt.
