OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Small towns across Oklahoma will soon receive funding to aid in the growth and development of their communities.
The US Agriculture Department will provide more than $517,000 in grant funds through the Rural Business Entertainment Grant program.
Officials in Stillwater say the purpose of the program is to finance and facilitate development of private business enterprises in rural Oklahoma towns.
Some of the grant winners were the Guymon Utilities Authority; the Frederick Economic Development Authority; and the Ardmore Development Authority.
