OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma City will host the fourth International Congress for Victims of Terrorism next year, officials said Monday.

The Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism and the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum will host the two-day Congress on Feb. 20-21.

The Congress began in Madrid, Spain, in 2004 and has alternated between the nations of Colombia and Spain since. Next year's meeting will be the first time the Congress has been held in North America.

Hundreds of victims, survivors, family members of terrorism victims and rescue workers from the United States and at least 10 other nations are expected in Oklahoma City for the event.

On April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City was the site of the most deadly act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history when a truck bomb was detonated in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, killing 168 people.
