MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- A woman accused of leaving her 23-month-old grandchild in a hot vehicle while she played the slot machines at a tribal casino will stand trial.

Loretta Webb on Thursday waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial on one count of child neglect.

43 year old Loretta Webb was the legal guardian of the child but that status has been dissolved and the little girl is in the custody of her paternal grandparents, Assistant District Attorney Tim King said.

Webb may enter a plea in the case before her May 11 district court arraignment, King said.

She is completing a treatment program and service plan that was coordinated by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, he said.
