OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A state House panel agreed Monday to create a new law enforcement unit to combat illegal immigration.

The author of the bill state Representative Randy Terrill says he plans to add more controls on undocumented aliens as the bill moves through the legislative process.

Terrill also says he plans to take the state Senate-passed bill to a joint House-Senate conference committee to negotiate a series of regulations.
