OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Nearly 30 registered sex offenders living at a reintegration center in Oklahoma City for men who have just left prison are being forced to move because of a new state law.
The men who live at Hand Up Ministries were denied a temporary injunction yesterday that would have allowed them to stay in their home.
State law says sex offenders can't live within two-thousand feet of a school.
The men at the center complied with the law before a recent change in the way police measure the distance.
The director of the center says most of the men can't afford to live on their own and will likely be forced to live on the streets.
