GROVE, Okla. (AP) -- A Grove man who's accused of killing his father a week after being released from a Missouri prison is waiving his preliminary hearing and will stand trial.
Mark Thurman is charged with murder in the November shooting death of Bob Thurman.
Investigators say Bob Thurman was found dead in his home with a gunshot wound to the head. Officials say Mark Thurman called his mother and told her about the shooting and said he didn't know how it happened.
Mark Thurman had been released from the Missouri State Penitentiary a week earlier and was living with his parents. he had been serving time for burglary.
