Tulsa's incredible kids were recognized with a day devoted to them. Camp Fire USA has been celebrating Absolutely Incredible Kid Day for 11 years.
The national letter-writing campaign encourages adults to write letters of love and encouragement to the kids in their lives.
The Tulsa area Camp Fire, with the help of ONEOK and several area businesses, had several events lined up Thursday from a doughnut-decorating party to a free trip to Woolaroc.
Camp Fire volunteer Tracy Harlow: "And what we decided to do it Tulsa is actually turn the event into a day where they can show kids how much they appreciate them and how incredible they are as well."
If you haven't written a letter to the absolutely incredible kid in your life, there is still time to slip in under their pillow.
