94 of the 212 inmates inside the Creek County jail were baptized Tuesday night.
Chaplains have been ministering to the jail inmates and brought in a new horse trough to use for the baptisms.
The last time the Creek County jail offered this was in 2001.
They say the inmates choose the ceremony as a concrete way to separate their past from their future.
Assistant chaplain Aaron McNulty: "A lot of these inmates decided they want to live a new life, start over. They realize the lifestyle they've been living isn't working for them and they want to change, do something different."
