All of our much needed rain overnight caused problems for a couple of area motorists.

Just before 2 AM Thursday, rain slicked streets caused the driver of one car to hit a utility pole at 1900 East Pine. Tulsa Police report the driver was apparently uninjured because he ran from the scene.

About 3:30 AM Thursday, the driver of a car lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a tree at 107th and Sheridan. The car then rolled onto it's top.

The driver was taken to the hospital with a possible broken arm.
