More than 2,000 members of Oklahoma's National Guard will head to Iraq later this month.  The Tulsa Oilers head coach and some members of the team spent Saturday helping make sure they have the supplies they need.  They were at the Blue Star Mothers warehouse packing Freedom Boxes.

They could use your help too.  There are a lot of soldiers and not nearly enough supplies.

"We're just putting some boxes together you know, getting some stuff over to the troops they don't have. You know, it's quite an undertaking they have here and it's really touching to see it all come together," said Oilers Head Coach Dan Hodge.

To help fill the Freedom Boxes just bring a donation to the Oilers special Military Weekend on January 25th and 26th.  Team members will wear military jerseys that'll be auctioned off after the game.  All the money raised will benefit Blue Star Mothers.

Tickets for the game that weekend are half price.
