Tulsa Police were busy overnight investigating several incidents. The first involved a security guard who was questioned after shots were fired at a Tulsa apartment complex overnight. Tulsa Police were called to the Comanche Park complex in the 3600 block of North Peoria before midnight. Detectives say a guard was checking for identification at an entry point to the complex, when a man got agitated with the security guard.
The suspect argued with the security guard and at some point, police says the guard fired 6 rounds at the suspect's car.
No one was hurt and detectives are still trying to sort out what happened.
Tulsa Police are investigating the armed robbery of a woman overnight. It happened at the Westminster Apartments near 51st and Memorial. The woman told police she had been dropped off from work and was going to her apartment when a man stuck a gun in her stomach. The suspect stole her purse and ran off.
The woman was not hurt.
For the second time this week a north side Subway restaurant has been the target of burglars. Someone smashed in a window of the store at Pine and Peoria. Tulsa Police say the suspects took what they wanted and ran off.
And a Tulsa Police chase ends with a suspect smashing into parked cars. It happened when a police officer saw a vehicle run a red light at 71st and Memorial. The officer went after the vehicle, with the chase ending in the Eagle Point Apartments near 71st and Yale.
Tulsa Police say the suspect was going so fast in the parking lot of the apartment complex and lost control, hitting two vehicles.
