Two Die In Overnight House Fire

The state Fire Marshal's Office has been called in to investigate a fatal house fire in Hominy.  Hominy Fire chief Steve Pitts tells the News On 6, Hominy firefighters responded to the fire shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday at a rural home south of town. 

Pitts says a husband and wife died in the blaze.  Their names are not being released pending notification of next of kin.  

Hominy is located in Osage County.
