2 small butternut squash (about 2 pounds) 2 apples, thinly sliced 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup butter, melted 1 tablespoon flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon mace
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel squash and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Arrange in greased 12 by 8 by 2-inch baking dish. Top with apples. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon over apples and squash. Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until squash is tender.
