4 or 5 squash 1 lb ground beef 1 1/2 to 2 cups corn bread crumbs 1 bell pepper Dash of salt 1 onion, chopped fine Salt & pepper to taste Margarine Cheese slices
Directions:
Boil squash in buttered and salted water until tender. Drain and split like a potato. Take a spoon and clean out inside of squash, saving teh insides. Brown ground beef and drain. Add remaining ingredients. Add teh saved squash until the mixture is moist. Put 1 teaspoon margarine and a dash of salt in each squash half. Fill each half with beef mixture and cover with 1 slice of cheese. Bake in 200 degree oven until cheese melts. Yield: 4 - 6 servings.
