Cookies 5 C. all-purpose flour 1-1/2 T. baking soda 1 T. of ground ginger 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 C. vegetable shortening 1/2 C. (1 stick) butter, at room temperature 1 C. packed light-brown sugar 2 eggs 3/4 C. molasses 1 T. white vinegar Icing 1 C. vegetable shortening 2 lbs. powdered sugar 1 tsp. butter flavoring 1 tsp. almond flavoring 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Directions:
Bake cookies in 350 degree oven 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
