4 C. flour 2 C. sugar 1 C. butter or oleo 1 tsp. salt 3 tsp. baking powder 2/3 tsp. soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 2/3 tsp. nutmeg 1 1/3 C. buttermilk 3 eggs
Directions:
Blend flour, sugar, butter and salt until it makes a crumb mixture. Remove 1 cup for topping. To remaining mixture, add baking powder, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add buttermilk and eggs; mix until smooth. Pour mixture into an oiled 9 x 13 inch pan and sprinkle topping over bread and bake at 375 degrees F. for 20 minutes.
